ABOUT LORE
Lore is a project led by Lucien Vantey since 2021.
The brand focuses on clothing, accessories and artefacts, designed and manufactured in Brussels.
Each piece is handmade with high-quality materials and special care.
The project is not based on a collection model, but rather on a series of pattern variations, a set.
Items appear and disappear according to the designer’s desire.
Initially heavily inspired by the world of sports and technical clothing, the brand is gradually moving away from petrochemical-based fibres and materials to focus on the use of natural fibres, while maintaining its connection with the outdoors, hiking, and a less performance-oriented form of walking.
A dialogue between functional and ornamental, rooted in a psychedelic and techno-feudal universe.
WHAT YOU PAY
Each item is handmade by me in my workshop in Brussels.
The price of each item is calculated based on the cost of raw materials plus labour (at a rate of €35/hour).
The aim is to keep prices as accessible as possible while ensuring fair compensation for my work.
Fixed costs such as studio rent, machinery investment and their return on investment are not included in the price.
The time spent on research and development is also not taken into account.
Only production time and material cost determine the final price.
PRODUCTION DELAY
As mentioned earlier, each item is made to order.
On average, it takes two weeks for an item to be produced, but this may vary depending on workload or ongoing projects.
If delays occur, I will keep you informed.
This timeframe does not apply to items occasionally made in small series. In that case, expect a 4–5 day turnaround between order and shipment.
